Unveiled 2018-08-30 at IFA; PhoneArena lists the release as 2018-10-16, and inside-digital gives a German market start of 2019-05. ZTE A2019 Pro is the China model. Ships with Android 8.1 Oreo; reports from 2018 said an Android 9 update was in the works (Android Authority), but no source confirms the last version. ZTE documents no shortcut for it that opens a chosen app, so only the common inputs apply.

Two taps on the home-screen widget within 3 s; a single accidental tap does nothing.
