DevilsBreathProtect
One gesture on your phone freezes every bank account, card and crypto exchange you have enrolled, within seconds. Only an identity check outside the phone can undo it.
The problem
In scopolamine (“burundanga”) robberies and express kidnappings, the victim is made compliant and walked through transfers, cardless withdrawals and crypto sends. Each bank has its own card freeze, but none covers every institution at once, and a drugged victim cannot work through five apps.
How it works
- While you are calm, you choose your banks, your trusted contacts and the gestures that raise the alarm.
- One gesture (a button, a back tap, a watch press, …) sends a signed signal. Your phone shows nothing, so an attacker is not provoked.
- Every enrolled institution receives a request to block outgoing money. Your trusted contacts get an alert and, if you allow it, your location.
- Only your bank can lift the block, after checking your identity in person. Nothing done on the phone can.
What it can and cannot do
- It can only ask for a block. It never holds bank credentials, never reads balances and never moves money.
- At launch, banks receive a verified email. A bank without an agreement with us is under no obligation to act, so these banks are marked best effort.
- A false alarm costs you a visit to your bank, not money. Test mode lets you rehearse without blocking.
- Which gestures work depends on your phone or watch. See the supported devices.
