Ships with Android 8.0 Oreo (Go edition) according to NaijaTechGuide; ProPakistani lists Android 7.0 for the Pop 1 Pro, so the lower version is used. Unveiled at Tecno's Lagos launch in April 2018 with the F series (NaijaTechGuide). Google Play lists F3 as both Pop 1 and Pop 1 Pro. No Android update is documented, so this is the version it shipped with.

The app can't run on the Tecno Pop 1 / Pop 1 Pro

Its last official update is Android 7, and the app needs Android 10 or later.

Gestures are set up in the phone settings as shown, then combined into a trigger recipe in the app, where practice mode shows step by step whether a gesture would trigger.
