Ships with ColorOS 6 (Android 9); install the ColorOS 7 (Android 10) update first. May 2019 is the China release; India sales began in July 2019 (Wikipedia). OPPO India support said in October 2020 that no further major updates were planned (PiunikaWeb); a ColorOS 11 beta (CPH1955_11_F.11) followed in August 2021, but a stable release is not confirmed by the sources used, so the screen-off gesture capability is not linked.
