Ships with Android 8.1; on sale in Europe from November 2018. An Android 9 update was reported, but no LG or press source confirmed it, and nothing later is known. No built-in gesture or key opens a chosen app. No Android update is documented, so this is the version it shipped with.
The app can't run on the G7 fit
Its last official update is Android 8, and the app needs Android 10 or later.
Gestures are set up in the phone settings as shown, then combined into a trigger recipe in the app, where practice mode shows step by step whether a gesture would trigger.
