Ships with Android 9 according to ProPakistani; the Indian Smart 4 runs Android 10 (Go edition) with XOS 6.2 (FoneArena), so the lower version is used. Announced 9 April 2020 (ProPakistani); sold in India as the Smart 4 from November 2020 (FoneArena). Google Play lists X680 as both Hot 9 Play and Smart 4. No Android update is documented, so this is the version it shipped with.

The app can't run on the Infinix Hot 9 Play / Smart 4

Its last official update is Android 9, and the app needs Android 10 or later.

Gestures are set up in the phone settings as shown, then combined into a trigger recipe in the app, where practice mode shows step by step whether a gesture would trigger.
