Ships with EMUI 9.1 (Android 9); install the EMUI 10.1 (Android 10) update first. No Google Mobile Services (Huawei Mobile Services and AppGallery instead): the Android-based OS may still run our APK, but Google Assistant routines (android-voice) are not available. No built-in gesture or key opens a chosen app: knuckle gestures (where present) only take screenshots or record the screen, and double-pressing Volume down only takes a photo or opens the camera. Release month is the announcement. The Y7p is the same phone with ART-L28.
