Ships with EMUI 11 (Android 10). No Google Mobile Services (Huawei Mobile Services and AppGallery instead): the Android-based OS may still run our APK, but Google Assistant routines (android-voice) are not available. No built-in gesture or key opens a chosen app: knuckle gestures (where present) only take screenshots or record the screen, and double-pressing Volume down only takes a photo or opens the camera. In China it later moved to HarmonyOS 2 and 3 (Android-compatible); no source gives a newer Android base, so last_os counts Android 10. The Collector Edition reports NOP-AN00, the same code as the Mate 40 Pro+, so confirm the model by name. Release month is approximate.

Recommended presets

  • Shake ×3Sends a signal

Three sharp shakes within 2.5 s: hard to do by accident, easy to do without looking.

    Shake ×3, 0.15–1 s apart · whole gesture within 2.5 s

  • Widget ×2Sends a signal

Two taps on the home-screen widget within 3 s; a single accidental tap does nothing.

    Widget ×2, 0.1–3 s apart · whole gesture within 3 s

Gestures are set up in the phone settings as shown, then combined into a trigger recipe in the app, where practice mode shows step by step whether a gesture would trigger.
