Ships with EMUI 9.0 (Android 9) and Google Mobile Services; install the EMUI 10 (Android 10) update first. Later global EMUI versions do not state a newer Android base, so last_os counts Android 10. LYA-L0C is the North America model. LYA-L29 is also used by the global Mate 20 RS, so confirm the model by name. No built-in gesture or key opens a chosen app: knuckle gestures (where present) only take screenshots or record the screen, and double-pressing Volume down only takes a photo or opens the camera. In China, LYA-AL00, LYA-AL10 and LYA-TL00 later moved to HarmonyOS (Android-compatible); last_os follows the global EMUI release, which ends on Android 10.

Gestures are set up in the phone settings as shown, then combined into a trigger recipe in the app, where practice mode shows step by step whether a gesture would trigger.
