Ships with EMUI 9 (Android 9) with Google services; install the EMUI 10 (Android 10) update first. No built-in gesture or key opens a chosen app on EMUI 10 / Magic UI 3: knuckle gestures (where present) only take screenshots, record the screen or split the screen, and double-pressing Volume down only takes a photo. The same HRY-LX1T phone was sold as the Honor 10i (Russia, from 2019-03), the Honor 20 Lite (Europe, from 2019-05) and later the Honor 20e. A different Honor 20 Lite uses MAR-LX1R.
